Hi Chleo. Can you introduce yourself to my readers who don’t know you yet?

CE: HEY! I’m Chleo Eve, I am a Road Safety Advocator, Director of Bee Safe Bee Aware, A Lived Experience Mental Health Peer Support Worker and a proud cat mum!

You’re a finalist for Miss Galaxy Australia 2024. Can you tell us more about it?

CE: I’m a national finalist for Miss Galaxy Australia, this will be my second year competing. I love everything about AGP; from their motto: “Be the Best Version Of You!” to being part of an amazing sister hood, and getting to dress up like a princess!

How did you become interested in pageants?

CE: I’ve always been interested in pageants, but was so scared to join a pageant system as a member of the LGBT community, and I felt like it would be frowned upon. But always had a passion for fashion and all things shiny and decided I started modelling. I met a lot of girls who did pageants while doing modelling and I express to them what’s been holding me back, and they encouraged me just jump the deep end and do it, and won’t regret, and they were right!

So I decided to join AGP, and it was the best thing I ever did for myself, and for my community.

What’s in your makeup bag right now?
CE: In my makeup bag I have primer, foundation, concealer, fake lashes, and barbie branded brushes and sponges

What is your vision of success?

CE: A future where every road in Australia is safe for everyone, where families can travel without worry, and every trip brings happiness. My goal is simple: to have zero lives lost on our roads. By working with communities and staying committed to road safety, we can make sure that all roads focus on keeping everyone safe.

What do you admire in a woman and why?

CE: Women are incredibly strong and can overcome tough times with determination and courage. They inspire others with their ability to face challenges and keep going. By supporting each other, believing in themselves, and working together, women break barriers and bring positive change to the world.

If you could give one piece of advice to your 14 year old self, what would it be?

CE: Tell your mum you love her.

Who are you most inspired by in the Pageant World and why?
CE: Rachel Slawson, Miss Grand Ireland 2023, The first openly LGBT+ woman to compete at Miss Grand International.

Her story has empowered me so much for me to just be myself.

How have beauty pageants impacted your life and your career?

CE: Pageants have changed my life, I have friendships all over Australia who I consider as my family. It encouraged me to change my career paths to help other young people with mental health struggles.

What is your best beauty secret?

CE: My biggest beauty secret is not a physical appearance but the inner beauty you have within, to love yourself as you are, live a balanced lifestyle and eat cake when you want to eat cake!
