SD: Hi, Joyce. For my readers who don’t know you yet, can you introduce yourself?
JT: Hi! I’m Joyce Taylor, a community advocate and event creator passionate about celebrating diversity, empowering women, and building spaces where everyone can shine. I love connecting people, sharing stories, and creating events that inspire confidence, courage, and connection.
SD: How have your accomplishments forged a path for women in your field and beyond?
JT: Through my events, like the Luxe Diversity Get Together and International Women’s Day celebrations, I’ve created platforms where women are recognized, celebrated, and given a voice. From awards for women achieving excellence to curated spaces for networking and learning, my work is about lifting others as I rise and helping women step into leadership roles with confidence.
SD: What have you sacrificed along the way, and what lessons have you learned?
JT: Balancing career, events, and family has meant long hours and missed moments, but every challenge has taught me resilience, focus, and trust in my vision. Sacrifices are part of growth, and I’ve learned that the rewards—impacting lives, inspiring women, and building community—far outweigh the moments missed.
SD: Who inspires you?
JT: I’m inspired by women who lead with heart, courage, and authenticity—those who break barriers, lift others, and create positive change. Everyday women doing extraordinary things in their communities inspire me just as much as leaders on the global stage.
SD: Do you believe self-care and your services empower women?
JT: Absolutely. Self-care isn’t indulgence, it’s empowerment. When women take care of themselves, they show up stronger, bolder, and more confident. Everything I create, from experiences to events, is designed to help women embrace their best selves.
SD: Your event for International Women’s Day celebration is coming up in March 2026. Can you tell us more about it?
JT: I’m so excited for our March 2026 International Women’s Day celebration! It’ll be an unforgettable evening of inspiration, culture, and connection. Guests can look forward to:
