Dear Suzanne: You Got Excluded From Nursing

Dear Suzanne,

You didn’t plan to be excluded from your Nursing degree.

For continuous academic failures.

You didn’t plan to one day be studying and working in mental health full time.

You didn’t know when you were younger that you will help people with their mental health.

You thought that you weren’t worthy of any job.

You didn’t value yourself.

But as you grow, you realise that your shortcomings in life, made you stronger for who you are now.

You instill hope in others with your story.

You are an inspiration.

You are hopeful.

You are strong for taking care of yourself first, before helping others.

And most importantly, you learnt the art of self care and how important it is.

Regards,
Suzanne
